Thanks for visiting my profile. I'm Vikram Solanki, currently a Sr. Product Designer at one of the leading banks in India, Kotak Mahindra Bank.

I have 9+ years of industry experience in designing and developing products from conceptualization to production with a high degree of success in a competitive landscape. I have been leading a team of versatile designers for 3 years and it has taught me how to motivate and mentor my colleagues, allowing them to be more creative and productive. I have designed products for various industries, including finance, banking, travel, healthcare, insurance, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and e-commerce.

While I became proficient in UX Research, UX Design, UI Design, and Usability over the years, my current role made me an efficient manager as well. Innumerable learning curves have made me proficient in communication, planning, coordinating, and leading my team to success.

After completing my Graduation in B.E. Information Technology in 2013, I started my career as a full-stack developer. Developing pixel-perfect designs and bug-free applications was the only goal in my life. However, as I grew in my profession, I realized that I have strong creative and visual skills that I can harness and contribute to organizations that aim to deliver a better user experience.

Ergo, in 2015, I did multiple offline courses to learn and implement the design process in my organization. To my surprise, my ideas worked. I slowly started designing more and developing less. My interest grew in UX as it focused on solving the pain points of the users.

In 2018, I upgraded and completed my HFI Certified Usability Analyst course to go even deeper into the customer experience. For 7 years now, my niche is to design products and I make sure that if I have to, I fail fast and fail cheap, to get to the optimum solution for the users in the fastest possible time.
